Leadership Experience

John is the Founder of “C2C” Coast-2-Coast Lacrosse, which is a select lacrosse program in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta and Richmond with over 600 student athletes. He is a co-founder of the Hebron Hawks Lacrosse Association, and a co-founder of the Castle Hills Lacrosse Club. His love of teaching and his ability to inspire others have brought much success to a number of teams and individuals across the country. Founding C2C has enabled him to truly grow the game of lacrosse…the right way.

Playing Experience

Coach Marano played his high school lacrosse at East Meadow High School, New York. He has continued to play for the last 20 plus years with the Austin Lacrosse Club, Dallas Lacrosse Club, Team Texas and C2C Magic Wands. He received MVP honors twice in the Asheville tournament and received All Vail honors twice for face-off play.

Alex has inspired youth as a coach with Lonestar and as a founding partner of Coast 2 Coast. He is known for his passion for the game, organizational skills both on and off the field, for an ability to promote excellence in player development, and to foster player and parent enjoyment of the game.

Coach Poole played his high school lacrosse at St. Paul’s in Baltimore, Maryland and college lacrosse at the University of Maryland where he lettered all four years and was known as “the locker room coach”; a true leader of the team.
